HOUSTON - The cold front is in the Gulf of Mexico and cold air is moving in the region. There has been a good round of showers at night and continue through the early hours of Friday.

The clouds are likely to stay for a while, but by Friday afternoon the skies to start cleaning and at night is clear and fresh. The winds will be more windy day with north winds 10-20 mph.

Highs on Friday will be in the 60's and feel cold with the wind conditions.

The weekend will be nice, but it will be quite cold in the mornings. Minimum will be in the 40's, but in the afternoon temperatures warm to 70. Sounds pretty good to me.

Dr. Jim
