They call tonight's CMA Awards (ABC, 8 pm ET) "the biggest night of country music," and with over 20 artists - including Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Zac Brown Band, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Sugarland, Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter, co-sponsors in addition to back Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood - appears to be a fair determination.

American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, who last month topped the Billboard 200 with his debut album as clear as day, knows all eyes will be on him when he takes the stage for the album cut the show's producers asked perform: the cover of "walk in the countryside," Urban sang a song when I was in the trio The Ranch in 1997. "I'll be in a room with big stars from Nashville, and in a way I'll be singing to prove to myself and say, 'This is me'," McCreery says EW. "I am still new to Nashville. I'm a fan of country music that gets all giddy when I'm around those people."

He Urbana, he has given a slap on his six strings and play back up other artists, join them? We'll have to wait and see. Anyway, the two and has an interesting history awards show. "The first time I met Keith Urban, was in the bathroom at the CMT Awards," McCreery said. "I wish we could possibly have to return. There is much talk in the bathroom. So it was a sort of" Hey. "'Hey'. It was fun, though."

After tonight, McCreery, who sang the National Anthem at Game 1 of World Series will not slow down. Tomorrow, the films of an outdoor performance of ABC CMA Country Christmas special in December. Later this month, will be performed in the transmission of NBC's Macy's Day Parade Thanksgiving.

In January, comes to the road opening for Brad Paisley's legendary prankster, along with Perry's band. "I got the opportunity to participate in one of his jokes when he came to Raleigh for the last stop of the Tour H2O [in September]. Me and Brad had these remote control trucks sprayed water. We Blake Shelton pretty good with that" said McCreery. "I think I'll have to sleep with one eye open. You never know what's going to shoot. We'll see."
