Texas Rangers catcher Mike Napoli fans can not ignore the chanting: Chatter World Series

Clubhouse Confidential: Do not be as strong as it was in the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, but it would not surprise if there were a few Rangers fans at Busch Stadium singing "Na-Po-Li, Na-Po-Li" when Texas Catcher Mike Napoli came to the plate in Game 6 on Thursday night.

"It was hard for me not to hear," said Napoli. "I think the first time I heard it was against Tampa Bay in the Division Series. It is something that a player must love the fans chanting his name and do the job. If you do not like that situation, you probably should not 't be playing. You must want to be a hero and do the job. " 

Napoli came into the game hitting .308 6 (4 to-13) with two homers and nine RBIs in five games. Napoli and nine RBI are tied for sixth for most RBI in a World Series ever. 

The last receiver to have more RBIs in the World Series was an arena of Indians Alomar Jr. in 1997 with 10. 

Speaking of Alomar: So far, the new GM of Boston, Ben Cherington has not asked permission to interview Alomar for the work of its manager vacancies. Alomar, the Indians bench coach, has been mentioned as a candidate to replace Terry Francona. 

Cherington first job in baseball was as a scout for the Indians. 

Stat of the day: Wednesday night's postponement of Game 6 because of rain -- although the game clearly could have been played -- was the 30th World Series game postponed by rain.
